of, Chicago, IL) For building sidewalks, driveways, non PVC wall fishponds, the base for mailboxes or for flags poles or even for installing hurricane fence posts, in-ground pools and more. Can
mix up to 250 Pounds (three 80 pound bags or four 60 pounds) of concrete /
cement or/and stucco or whatever is needed for mixing. Yes, while gears
are moving during operation, the grinding noise will increase more and
more (up to
the sound of rubber mallets gently beating up against drywall if filled up
to 250 pounds) as
weight of mortar/concrete/other is being poured into the drum. This is normal for the 115V AC, 1-1/2 Horse, Single phase, 1,725 r.p.m. motor to make the gears generated that type of sound. The whole steel framing is grounded (for safety) due to its 6” long electric cord having three prongs (Neutral, Hot and ground). (Drum
can be completely rotated up-side-down to easily spray water up inside to
rinse drum quickly). Frame
is steel construction connected together with hex-nut screws, washers and
bolts with some welding. The
motor, pulleys, belts, internal drive shafts are incased in a 1/8” thick
plastic covering with ¾” vent holes to air out the motor’s heat. Tip: While in operation during typical winter environments, the heat from the motor will rise inside the cover to keep parts warm (Takes five to seven minutes to warm up) during wintertime to prevent age, extra wear and tear on the moving parts if the parts were cold during outside winter temperatures. The
volume inside the drum holds up to 4 cubic feet / 30 wet gallons of space. The
inside diameter of pouring spout is 14” diameter. The
maximum outside girth size (centered at the rotation gear) is 23”
diameter & 72.26” / 6’ circumference. The
length (from
the spout opening to where the drum axel is welded to the rear of the
drum) is
of the drum itself is 25” long. Drum
rotates up to 21.05 R.P.M (1,263.0 R.P.H) when completely empty at 0
pounds). Drum
rotates up to 20.15 R.P.M (1,209 R.P.H) when filled up to 125 pounds. Drum
rotates up to 18.75 R.P.M (1,125 R.P.H) when filled up to 250 pounds. The
both heavy-duty plastic wheels are 10” Diameter X 1-3/4” wide and are
made out of polyethylene tires. Not
built for towing.
Maximum
machine dimensions (for pick-up & loading) Height
is 55 - 5/8” high at the edge of the black rubber handle (when drum is
facing straight up). Width
is 32 - 1/4” wide at the edges of the axel caps on the both wheels. Length
is 42 – ½” long (from the back edge of the wheel to the pivot knob
connected to the rotation handle). Need
