There would some various selections to choose from because of different prices to choose from. If choose this link here, http://froogle.google.com/froogle_cluster?q=porter+cable+6911+router&pid=4878303977 423328837&oid=15809001593627349384&btnG=Search+Froogle&scoring=mrd&hl=en This is the model with its description as in stated in the manual, again, is also included with this router in this listing. I
could say this whole setup is like new however, the table ($50.00*** value
itself) was built about fourteen (14) years ago and the router (plus
another $70.00*** value) itself was created sometime in 1992. Might be old
however, has a sturdy and steady spin. Throwing in a 15 A.M.P. variable
speed adjuster for free. (This
variable speed adjuster runs this type of router from ?* R.P.M.’s up to
25,000 R.P.M.’s). *
= not specified on the variable speed adjuster itself. The
portable table was built by my father. This
whole setup was used for the first eight (8) to nine (9) months until it
was left to sit around in the dark. It was my father’s. This setup for
these past 14 years hasn’t been operated until last couple of weeks ago
for testing/cleaning purposes for this listing. The table part used to be
connected to legs however the legs themselves were beyond repair. Legs had
to be removed. When the router is connected under the table, the bottom of
the router extends about 6” – 7” inches below the table’s bottom
base. Great deal if like to connect folding legs to the table. The whole
table itself (Except the ¾” thick top which is made out of oak veneer
with a Formica ™** on type of that) is made out oak wood. The
router spindle has a stable spin. Starts
up great. Has
been vacuum & clean off. There
is a ¾” grove in the table for the uses of 90 degree slide guide. Table
top dimensions are: The
total width of the table is 51” The
total height of the table is 34 – ¾” The
total depth of the table connected to the base is 4 – ¼” (Otherwise
the table top itself is ¾”) Table
base dimensions are: The
width of the table base itself is 48 – ½” The
height of the table base itself is 33 – ½” The
depth of the table base itself is 3 – ½” Guide
dimensions are: With
the router guide by itself: The
width of the guide is 56 – ¼” The
height of the guide is 6 – 1/4” The
depth of the guide is 4 – 5/8” If
the guide walls are extend to their 2 - ¼” max then the total depth
would be up to 6 – 7/8” Weight is about 70 – 80 lbs. Total for the portable router table /w router guide /w router plus manual & /w variable speed adjuster is a grand total of $120.00. This whole setup is Local pick-up only. If their where other parts/accessories, what appears in the picture with-in this listing was all I could locate. The Portal Cable 6911 Router The manual. Part list. The two 1 – 1/8” wrenches for the collets and the motor shaft. The 2 Collets themselves (1/4” & ½”) Table. Guide. And
the variable speed adjuster. This portable table could be mounted/bolted on wooden /steel/ Ect.. work horses or can placed on your work bench for operation. To mount the router under the table is to remove the sub base by removing its base screws. Two of the three screws are not the same. Two of them are the original Phillips screws that came with the router. The original third one is missing however, it was replaced with another metal screw exactly shaped like the first two screws but has an 1/16”, “L” wrench hex shaped opening with its flat surface. Align the router’s empty screw holes to the three holes under the Plexiglas and tighten those same screws to the router’s metal base. If you are the winning bidder, I’ll Email you directions on how to get to my workshop for local pickup. Questions?, Feel free to email me through Ebay. Thanks, Derek ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
