Can store, power tools, hand/car tools or other belongings you could think of in this cabinet.

 

Overall dimensions of whole cabinet are,

42 – 3/8” Wide x 26 – 3/8” Depth x 40 – 11/16 High.

 

Weight is about 140 – 150 Lbs.

 

The top slides back (up to 12”) to the rear from the front to gain access through the top opening of the cabinet.

Because of age of cabinet, top section could “dog-walk” while sliding.

I could recommend keeping the top section stationary however that’s up to the buyer once purchased.

 

Note: Sliding the top more 12” to the rear could pose a strain to the wheel slides unless planning to remove the top. (Parts do have some age in them).

 

The top surface of the top section was used as a form to create kitchen cabinet door/drawer designs.

 

If never planning to ever use the top section to side, just remove the enamel coated metal drawer slides and replace/bolt the top over the cabinet’s top.

 

Top section could be used as a table of some sort.

 

Overall dimensions of whole cabinet (When top is completely removed) are,

40” Wide x 24 – ½” Depth x 38 – 5/16” High.

 

Contains six (6) pull wheel slide drawers which holds .91 cubic feet volume, each.

 

The inside dimensions of each drawer is,

 

15 – ½” Wide x 18 – ½” Depth/Long x 5 – ½” High.

 

Each drawer panel is 17 – 5/16” Wide x 6 – 9/16” High with a brass horizontal pull handle on it.

 

Tip/Option: All six drawers are easy to remove to create more general space.

 

Butter knife or screw driver can used to release the slide locks to pull drawers completely out of cabinet.

 

The two front doors (Both in front of the six drawers) are 18 – ¾” Wide x 22 – 9/16” High.

 

Both right/left door swing open outward to the right/left using its two antique brass hinges for each door.

 

About the opening above the two front doors.

 

The opening is 37 – 3/8” Wide x 9 –3/4” High.

 

The inside dimensions of this camber is,

 

23 – ½” Depth x 38 – ½” Wide x 10 – ¾” High.

 

This whole storage cabinet rests on four, 3” Diameter x 1 –1/4” wide black rubber wheel steal frame casters which all swivel with built-in foot press-down brakes.

 

The material of the storage cabinet.

 

The wood on the side of the cabinet and on the front side of the six drawers is made out of plywood with an oak wood like coating.

 

The wood frame in the front is made out of oak.

 

The top section is made out of particle wood with some oak framing on the both sides.

 

The middle floor section (above the two swing doors) and the two swing doors

themselves are made out of oak veneer including the bottom too.

 

Any unmentioned wood would be made out of oak including the 1/4" thick oak plywood in the back of the storage cabinat. 

 

Allot of the wood is coated with lacquer accept under the bottom where the wheels are at. The interior framing has no lacquer coating on it either.

 

Originally, this cabinet was home-built by my father about ten years ago. I have no use for it. Willing to sell it as an estate/auction sale.

NOTE - One item had a negative issue - do to somewhat a handling problem during shipment once it left at the shipping depot. It asked to be shipped back for full refund,

buyer refused and had asked for the money and still wanted to keep the item anyway.

Shipping depot was contacted for insurance money for the item’s value to give back the buyer – Shipping depot found ways to pass the buck around with-out

handing the buck to the buyer. Seller was in the middle however, did send money back to buyer. Motor was returned before that.
